# AI Pilot terms

These terms apply to the Vrisic [AI Pilot](https://vrisic.com/ai-pilot/) . Our general [terms of service](https://vrisic.com/terms/) also apply. If there is a conflict, these AI Pilot terms win for the pilot itself.

## 1. What the AI Pilot is

The AI Pilot is a fixed scope proof of concept. We build a small working version of one agreed AI use case on a sample of your data, measure it against an agreed pass mark and give you a written verdict with a fixed price and timeline for a full build.

## 2. Price and payment

- The price is **$1,500** , or **£1,200** , or **AED 5,500** , plus any taxes that apply in your country.
- Payment is due in full before kickoff.
- Model and hosting usage during normal testing is included.

## 3. What is included

- One use case and one main data source, agreed in writing at kickoff
- A kickoff call and a readout call, each up to one hour
- An evaluation set of 30 to 100 examples built from your data
- A working prototype in a private environment
- A results report covering accuracy, speed, cost per task and failure cases
- A production architecture outline and a fixed price proposal for the full build

Integrations with live production systems, public launch, and extra use cases are outside the pilot and are quoted separately.

## 4. Timeline

The pilot runs for 10 business days, starting on the kickoff day. The clock starts once we have received payment, the agreed sample data and access, and pauses on days we are waiting for information from you. If we cannot start within 10 business days of your payment for reasons on our side, you can ask for a full refund.

## 5. How the credit works

- If you sign a full build with Vrisic within **60 days** of the pilot readout, the whole pilot fee is deducted from the first invoice of that build.
- Example: a $1,500 pilot followed by a $40,000 build means the build costs you $38,500.
- The credit applies once, to the same company that paid for the pilot, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
- If the full build is smaller than the pilot fee, the credit is limited to the value of the build.

## 6. Cancellations and refunds

- Cancel before kickoff: full refund.
- After kickoff, the fee is not refundable, because the engineering work has started and you keep everything it produces.
- If we cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund.

A pilot can end with a “no go” verdict. That is a valid result: it means the numbers do not justify a full build yet, and it does not create a right to a refund.

## 7. Your data during the pilot

- We sign an NDA before you share any data.
- Please share only the data the use case needs, and remove or mask personal data where you can. For health data from the US, we use de identified samples unless a Business Associate Agreement is in place.
- Pilot data is stored in a private environment with access limited to the engineers on your pilot, in a region we agree with you, such as the US, UK, EU or UAE.
- We delete pilot data within 30 days after the readout unless you continue to a full build or ask us to keep it.

## 8. Ownership

Once the pilot is paid, you own the prototype code, prompts, evaluation set and results report produced for you. Tools and libraries we owned before the pilot remain ours, with a permanent licence for you to use them as part of the pilot outputs.

## 9. Results

We report results honestly as measured on your test set. Results on a sample can differ from results in production, and we cannot guarantee a specific accuracy, saving or business outcome.
