A working AI pilot on your own data in 10 business days. $1,500, fully credited if you go ahead within 60 days. Here is the problem. Big AI budgets approved on a slide deck. No proof it works on your real data. And months before anyone sees a result. Here is how it works. First, day 1 to 2: pick one process and success measures. Second, day 3 to 4: connect sample data safely. Third, day 5 to 8: build and test the pilot. And finally, day 9 to 10: demo and an honest verdict. What do you get? A working pilot, not slides. Measured accuracy and time saved. A fixed price for the full build. $1,500, £1,200 or AED 5,500. Credited within 60 days. The easiest way to start is a $1,500 AI Pilot on your own data. You see a working version in ten business days, and the fee is credited to the full build. Book a free call, or message us on WhatsApp, at vrisic.com.

Why start with a paid pilot instead of a big contract

Most AI projects fail in the gap between a good demo and real data. The pilot closes that gap before you commit a large budget.

Buying AI development is hard because nobody can promise accuracy before they have seen your data. Agencies either quote high to cover the unknowns or quote low and change the price later. A generic demo proves only that the vendor can use a language model, not that your task works.

The pilot turns that uncertainty into evidence. In two weeks you see the system answer your real questions, read your real documents or handle your real enquiries, with a measured score on a test set built from your own examples. You also see where it fails, which matters as much as where it works.

Because the fee is credited in full when you go ahead, the pilot is not an extra cost for the projects that continue. It is simply the first two weeks of the build, done in a way that lets you walk away cheaply if the numbers do not justify the rest.

If the verdict is no, you have spent $1,500 to avoid a bad five or six figure decision, and you keep the prototype and the report. Our guide to AI development cost explains why that early evidence usually saves more than it costs.

What happens in the 10 business days

A fixed plan, so you always know what comes next and what you need to give us.

  1. 01

    Kickoff and success measure

    Day 1

A one hour call with your owner. We agree the single task, what a good answer looks like, the pass mark and which data we will use. You receive a one page pilot brief the same day.

You get: Pilot brief, Agreed pass mark

  2. 02

    Data and test set

    Days 2 to 3

We prepare a sample of your real data and build a test set of 30 to 100 examples with the right answers, checked with your team. This set becomes the yardstick for everything that follows.

You get: Cleaned sample data, Evaluation set you keep

  3. 03

    Build the working prototype

    Days 3 to 7

We build the smallest version that does the real task end to end: retrieval over your documents, an agent that uses a sandbox copy of your tools, or a drafting flow with your templates. It runs in a private environment only your team can open.

You get: Working prototype, Private test link

  4. 04

Measure and try to break it

    Days 7 to 9

We run the full test set, score accuracy, cost per task and speed, then try awkward and adversarial cases. Your team uses the prototype and flags anything that feels wrong.

You get: Results report, Cost per task estimate

  5. 05

    Readout and fixed build price

    Day 10

A one hour readout: what worked, what did not, what a person still needs to check, the architecture for production and one fixed price and timeline for the full build.

You get: Go or no go verdict, Fixed build proposal

What you keep at the end of the pilot

Everything the pilot produces belongs to you, whether or not you continue with us. That is deliberate: the pilot should leave you better informed, not more dependent.

The results report is written for a decision maker, not only for engineers. It states the score against your pass mark in plain numbers, lists the failure cases with examples and gives the running cost per task at your expected volume.

Your pilot pack

  • A working prototype on your real data
  • The evaluation set built from your examples
  • A results report with accuracy, speed and cost per task
  • A production architecture outline and security notes
  • A fixed price and timeline for the full build
  • The prototype code and prompts in your repository

AI Pilot pricing, and how the credit works

One price for the pilot. If you continue, the full amount comes off the build.

Full build after the pilot

The production system, priced from what the pilot proved

From $8,000From £6,400From AED 29,000

3 to 20 weeks by scope

  • Pilot fee deducted from the first invoice
  • Milestones you approve
  • Integrations, security and monitoring
  • Launch support and handover
  • Code and accounts in your name

Build prices depend on the use case; see the ranges on each service page, such as AI agent development or custom AI software. Model usage during the pilot is included up to normal testing volumes.

Use cases that fit a 10 day pilot

The best pilots have a clear input, a clear output and enough real examples to test against.

Answers from your documents

An assistant that answers staff questions from policies, contracts or manuals, with sources. The pilot for enterprise RAG and AI search.

An agent for one workflow

Lead qualification, ticket triage or booking, working against a sandbox copy of your tools. The first step of AI agent development.

Data from documents

Invoices, forms or claims turned into clean structured data with a confidence score. A common start for AI workflow automation.

Drafting with your templates

Proposals, reports or replies drafted from your data and style guide, checked before sending. See generative AI development.

A voice agent on a test line

A voice agent that answers the ten most common calls on a private test number. The start of voice AI development.

AI inside one system

Summaries or suggestions inside your CRM or helpdesk on a sandbox copy. The first slice of AI integration.

The pilot in the US, UK and UAE

Same ten days, local currency and the data rules of your market.

US

United States

Priced at $1,500 and run in US business hours overlap. For healthcare data we work only with de identified samples during the pilot unless a BAA is in place.

  • US cloud region by default
  • NDA before any data is shared
  • Readout scheduled in your time zone
UK

United Kingdom

Priced at £1,200. Pilot data stays in a UK or EU region, and we minimise personal data in the sample in line with UK GDPR.

  • UK or EU hosting for pilot data

  • Readout within UK working hours
UAE

United Arab Emirates

Priced at AED 5,500. We can run the pilot in a UAE cloud region and test Arabic and English content side by side.

  • UAE region hosting where required
  • Arabic and English test cases
  • Readout within Gulf working hours

Questions we hear every week

Still unsure about something? Ask us on a call. We will give you a straight answer, even if it means we are not the right partner.

What exactly is the Vrisic AI Pilot?

The AI Pilot is a fixed price, 10 business day proof of concept. We take one real task from your business, build a small working version of the AI system on your own data, test it with your team and hand you a written verdict with a fixed price for the full build. It costs $1,500, £1,200 or AED 5,500.

How does the pilot credit work?

If you sign the full build within 60 days of the pilot readout, the entire pilot fee is deducted from the first invoice of that project. A $1,500 pilot followed by a $40,000 build means the build costs you $38,500. If you decide not to continue, you keep everything the pilot produced.

Why is the pilot paid and not free?

A free demo is usually a generic video or a template shown to everyone. A paid pilot means we spend ten days on your data, your rules and your edge cases, with an engineer assigned to you. The small fee keeps both sides serious, and the credit means it costs nothing if the project goes ahead.

What do we need to provide for the pilot?

One owner on your side who can answer questions within a day, a sample of real data such as 50 to 500 documents, emails, calls or records, read only access or exports from the systems involved, and one hour for kickoff plus one hour for the readout. We sign an NDA before any data changes hands.

What can a 10 day AI pilot realistically prove?

It can prove whether AI can do the task well enough on your data, how accurate it is on a real test set, what a person still has to check, and what the full build and running costs will be. It does not produce finished production software, integrations with every system or a public launch.

Do we own what the pilot produces?

Yes. You keep the prototype code, prompts, the evaluation set built from your examples, the results report and the architecture outline. Nothing is locked inside a Vrisic account, so you can take the findings to another team if you choose to.

Which AI projects are a good fit for a pilot?

Tasks with a clear input and output and enough examples to test against: answering questions from documents, drafting replies, extracting data from files, qualifying leads, triaging tickets, summarising calls or routing requests. Projects that are mostly hardware, pure research or a full platform rebuild are better scoped on a call first.

Is the pilot available in the UK and UAE?

Yes. The pilot runs the same way for clients in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Pricing is $1,500, £1,200 or AED 5,500, and we can keep pilot data in a UK, EU or UAE cloud region when your rules require it.
